Helping and Consulting Survivors is part of a growing movement of concerned citizens, survivors, and professionals working to ensure the right of every person to build a life free from the devastating consequences of sexual assault and abuse.

The resources we provide are intended for individuals who have experienced sexual assault or abuse and are seeking support.

 Lavinia Masters, keynote speaker, advocate, and consultant works with individuals and various organizations to empower, educate and enlighten them about trauma and how to overcome it with purposeful living. She believes in mentoring with compassion, guiding her champions to trust the processes of discovering their full purpose beyond their past pain so that they too can empower, educate and enlighten their communities on how to promote healing and seek justice for victims while remaining trauma-informed, and survivor-centered. 

 Nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men alike, and founder, and advocate Monica Moore Stuart is a part of this statistic. 

 Purple Patches was created to empower women. It not only allows Monica to be a voice for those who cannot speak but offers resources and transitional housing to survivors that need an escape to safety.    

When you are about empowering survivors you find innovative ways to support them.  My colleague and fellow survivor/advocate vows to offer a safe space for survivors to have all their important documentation notarized.  Whether it is a  protective order to something simple as an address change, Ms. Hurd is here to make the transaction as simple and easy as possible.

 As a script consultant & awareness expert, Lavinia gives writers/directors advice on how to improve their screenplay to be trauma-informed and survivor-centered for the actors, director, and crew.  We also provide resources and exercises to empower celebrities if scenes or productions initiate triggers due to content related to sexual or relationship violence.
